It's DVD Season
As many of you know, I'm a huge movie fan, and I love catching the big release of the weekend on opening night (Saturday night at the latest). Problem is, this is the graveyard season, the time of year when crappy movies that inexplicably got produced get released. I haven't seen a single movie released in 2005. Nothing has come even close to interesting me.
So it's video season for another month or two, pretty much until the final installment of Star Wars (does anything else exciting come out before then?). If you are a movie buff like me and have been suffering through the drought as well, check out my movie ratings and find something great that you've missed out on from the past. And let me know if there's anything worth watching that isn't on my list! I'll probably rent Ladder 49 this weekend, though I'm automatically skeptical of anything with John Travolta these days. Be Cool, anyone? No thanks.

Not movies, but two TV series available on DVD that I can recommend:
- The Office (British original)
- Curb Your Enthusiasm (I think seasons 1-3 are available)
I think I'll take up your suggestions. Those are both shows that I've heard a lot of good things about but never checked out. TV on DVD...brilliant. I'll need to get Lost on DVD as well, since I've missed so many episodes now, but that isn't coming until September!
