Interesting observations
1) Michelle Wie is a millionaire at the age of 15. Geesh. When I was 15, I think I got $10 a week for allowance money. I wonder how she's going to handle high school and if she'll ever go to Stanford? Lucky girl; she's sponsored by 2 of my favorite companies- Nike and Sony.

2) It seems as if October is the month of romance and birthdays- wedding anniversaries, dating anniversaries, and birthdays... any theories why?

3) Matthew Fox (Lost) was on Oprah today. He, Orlando Bloom (yum), and Sarah Jessica Parker were sharing their favorite restaurants and things to do in their respective cities. Apparently, Matthew likes this smoothie place in Kailua on my Island, likes to go skinny-dipping at night, and his favorite romantic get-away is the Kahala Mandarin Hotel which is our #1 choice for our wedding!
4) Elephants have bigger brains (in terms of mass) than humans.

man, i woul'dve killed for $10/week. my parents always told me my food was my allowance.
when wie goes to stanford chang and i plan to camp out at the driving range and hit on her relentlessly.
she will be mine... oh, yes... she will be mine.
Why October? Because it's a couple of weeks into the school year. :)
The Kahala Mandarin was also where Michelle Wie made her announcement!
She's now the highest paid woman, er, female athlete on the planet. And this after only her first two endorsements. Many more to come, not to mention prize money.
Sorry Gerald, but I wouldn't count on her coming to Stanford. I hope she does, but once she joins the tour at age 18...not much time to hit the books.
i second chang's comment about october being a popular anniversary date because it's a few wks into school
:( i missed oprah today!! wasnt matthew fox on party of five?
Dude, Michelle Wie is taller than the 2 of you and could easily beat you up!
Matthew Fox was on Party of Five! He is so hot :)
Rumor has it that Evangeline Lilly and Dominic Monaghan are a thing. Dude, what is she DOING? The hobbit? Really???
elephants better have bigger brains than humans, look how huge they are!
ah, pooh. october in my med school was halloween dump time, akin to the turkey dump of college.
is michelle wie korean or a big mix?
She's Korean but can apparently speak Chinese and Japanese. She's gonna be a huge hit in Asia, where golf, especially women's golf, if huge.
gerald you couldn't pick her up. you got no game.
do elephants have bigger penises than humans too?
hobbits do.
Thanks folks, you've been great! I'll be here all week!
What are anniversaries? What's dating? Can grandpa Gerald hit on 15 year olds? Back to my hw crunch on a friday morning!
I believe in Genuis!!
But I also beleive in the Palo Alto PD, so while he'll have success, it will only last until the fuzz shows up to arrest him.
No, 'cause by then, she'll be legal. Gerald's many things, but...
Genuis??? crap, is that from some movie again, Drew? :)
Ruth, I just googled elephant penis. An elephant's ding dong is a couple of feet long! Jer, I just thought that humans had the biggest brains in the animal kingdom for some reason.
Not a movie reference. Gerald is Genius!
So in answer to your questions, Ruth.... *looking down*... no.
the ding dong fact is...something i'd never look up but good stuff!
yeah, i guess..we have the coolest brains by far
