	Gina and Chang's Favorite Restaurants These are some of our favorite places to eat, both for special occasions and quick bites. If you're in the area of one of these places, try it out, and enjoy a great meal! Favorite Dessert Places

	Crustacean is a great Vietnamese restaurant known for two things we order everytime we go there, roast crab and An's garlic noodles. The garlic noodles are amazing, and could be a great meal on their own. The place is pricey, but totally worth it. I also went to the Las Vegas restaurant, and it wasn't as good as the SF version, but it was still worth the price. The crab comes pre-shelled, which is much cleaner, and the garlic noodles are exactly the same, which is all that really matters.		Korea House in Santa Clara is my go-to place for Korean food. It's not as good as Mom's, but it's good enough to remind me of home. I always get the kalbi, and Gina loves the dol sot bap. If you aren't Asian (and even if you are), beware the woman who runs the joint. She's convinced that everyone needs to be taught how to eat. Her intentions are good, and she gives me complimentary beer when it's my birthday. And if you go with Jeremy, he will eat your food.		Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. is a fun place to eat, with decent seafood and a great spinach and artichoke dip. If you go - and there are locations in SF, Long Beach, and Honolulu, among others - be sure to get the Far Out dip. It lives up to its name. The bucket of boat trash is also pretty good. The service is great, and the waiters pepper you with trivia about the movie. All in all, a great place to go when you're on the wharf. The only downside is the long wait during the busy hours.

	La Fondue is an amazing restaurant if you like dipping things into melty cheese and chocolate. It also has a meat entree that can be cooked on a grill or in boiling wine, with various dipping sauces and an array of exotic meats, including ostrich and buffalo, along with different types of chicken, fish, and beef. The salad is also excellent. But the reason you go is for the cheese and chocolate. Our favorites are melted cheddar with sundried tomatoes, with bread and assorted vegetables dipped in, and dark chocolate with amaretto or irish creme, with various fruits and sweets to dip, including cinnamon-covered balls of cream cheese. This is a great place for special occasions. We've been here for Valentine's Day and an anniversary. It gets pricey, especially if you try the more exotic meats, but they'll have to roll you out when you're done.		Looking for a great steak? This is the place to go in the Bay Area, and lucky for us, it is right across the street from the Stanford campus. It's a pretty fancy restaurant, and it is priced accordingly. An entree will cost between $30 and $40. Like any steakhouse, you can find seafood or chicken if you stay away from red meat, but then, what's the point? Go all out, enjoy a nice filet, sirloin, or prime rib, or if you are really adventurous (like Jeremy), go for the 24 oz porterhouse. The desserts are tasty, but good luck finding room.		Pluto's is known for its excellent salads, where you get to pick your meat (grilled flank steak or chicken), sides, and dressing, and they toss it right in front of you. As you can see from the picture, there are tons of choices, but our favorites are walnuts, apples, oranges, croutons, and more walnuts. You can also order grilled meat entrees and sandwiches, with huge sides, but that's like ordering seafood at a renowned steak house. There are multiple locations in the Bay Area, but the closest to us is in downtown Palo Alto, right next to the Borders. It is a very popular place, so good luck finding a seat, but it is worth the crowds, the prices are cheap, and we usually just take out if there's no space.
